Buoyancy Control System
As the market leader in individually tailored triathlon wetsuits, Snugg offers unrivalled hydrodynamics with our exclusive buoyancy control system.
Because Snugg makes a suit as unique as you, we are able to cater
for each triathlete’s individual swim needs, by providing a choice
of 3 variable flotation styles (see below).
The importance of a correctly fitting triathlon suit cannot be understated;
a suit that is too tight may restrict breathing and certainly movement.
A suit too loose and you will be carrying an excess of water, thereby
considerably reducing your speed.
All our tailored suits are hand-made at our factory in Cornwall, to
your exact requirements, ensuring the highest quality.
By removing all the horizontal seams we have radically redesigned
the shoulder panel using Neo X neoprene, in conjunction with Mega
Stretch 6006 to produce the most flexible shoulder to lat panel, (on
the slipstream this panel is increased to below the elbow giving maximum
flexibility). On certain slipstream panels we can offer a
colour option - silver, gold, royal blue or red.
Always in pursuit of excellence in suit design we are constantly researching
and testing new materials. For the year 2007 we are introducing into
our suits a revolutionary new Nano SCS neoprene from Yamamoto.
The unique Nano SCS neoprene has small air bubbles beneath the silicone
coating that increased buoyancy, together with Yamamoto’s water repellent
aqua block fabric lining resulting in a lighter weight suit.
With the combination of all these factors, we have developed a wetsuit
that will enable you to perform to the best of your ability and will
give you the correct profile in the water for optimum speed.
